WHO WE ARE

Nanbei International Holdings makes the metal that carries load.

We hold and operate manufacturing businesses producing structural and safety-critical components — forged, cast, formed and machined.

Our parts run under commercial vehicles and passenger vehicles today, and increasingly inside the platforms replacing them: electric aircraft, and robots.

The market changes. The problem does not: a part that carries load, fails in fatigue, and cannot fail in service.

Material verified at melt, castings inspected under fluorescent penetrant, finished components cycled on our own benches — the same discipline whether the part ends up on a highway or in the air.

We hold operating assets, not paper positions. Every business in our portfolio manufactures.

Our holdings give us direct control over four core manufacturing processes. Material specification, capacity allocation and cost structure are internal decisions — not supplier negotiations.

Forging

Where the load path matters.

Forging is where our material capability is most concentrated. Closed-die, open-die and ring-rolling operations run across aluminum, magnesium and steel — producing near-net-shape components where grain flow, fatigue life and weight have to be resolved simultaneously.

Unlike casting, a forged part carries continuous grain flow that follows the component geometry. In wheels, hubs and structural housings, that flow is what determines fatigue life at the stress concentrations — which is why we verify it by macro-etch on production parts, not only on first article.

Casting

Certified to four standards, not one.

We run investment casting, shell molding and resin sand — selected by geometry and volume, not by what a single shop happens to own. Complex, thin-wall geometry goes to investment casting; dimensionally critical mid-volume parts go to shell molding; large structural castings go to resin sand.

Every ductile iron and cast steel grade we produce is cross-certified against ASTM, EN, JIS and GB. For customers shipping into multiple regions, this removes a full requalification cycle per market.

Structural Steel

From coil to welded assembly.

Frame rails, crossmembers and axle beams are where material selection quietly decides warranty cost. We form, weld and coat structural assemblies in-house, and we select material by weld-zone fatigue behavior rather than base-metal strength alone.

On trailer axle beams, the conventional choice is 27SiMn. We specify HSLA instead — its lower carbon equivalent produces a narrower, tougher heat-affected zone at bracket welds, which is where beam fatigue failures actually initiate. Base-metal strength is not the governing variable; the weld is.

Precision gears and bearings

Precision Gearing

Most suppliers buy their gearing. We cut ours.

Landing gear and slack adjusters are gearboxes. Their service life is decided by tooth geometry, case depth and lubrication — not by the housing around them.

Most suppliers in this category purchase their gear sets from sub-tiers. We produce ours: hobbing, shaping, grinding, carburizing and final inspection all sit inside the group. That means when a fleet reports a landing gear failure at 200,000 miles, we can trace it to a heat lot and a hobbing setup — and change it.

Capital is the leastuseful thing we contribute.

We invest in established manufacturers — already in production, already qualified with real customers. What they lack is rarely funding. It is a route into markets that demand certifications they have never been asked for.

That route is not one market. North America runs on SAE and DOT. Europe on ECE, EN and TÜV. Australia on ADR. Southeast Asia on national schemes that differ country by country. Latin America on relationships and local stock.

Few manufacturers satisfy more than one. We operate across all of them.
